Tons of superhero movie news in the past week. First off the newest photos from the set of the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. The full gallery of fairly irrelevant pictures from Ain't It Cool News can be found here. Also, there is an even more irrelevant video of some Spidey action going down while shooting in downtown L.A. Spidey and Captain America costume pictures and speculation after the jump.
Next up, some relevant pictures. Sometimes a superhero movie can come to a grinding halt as early as the costume, but more often than not they are some slicked up version of the old school comic book hero. And right on cue is a shot of Andrew Garfield in the new Spider-Man costume which looks sort of similar to the costume in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. After that we got new Captain America shots as well. One of Chris Evans standing all bad ass in the suit, and some weird Photoshop looking so-called "action shot" which seems to imply he is running as opposed to standing. In my humble opinion the Spider-Man costume looks great, but there is not much you can do with the iconic suit without sending comic book fans into a nerd rage, and the Captain America looks pretty sweet minus the dorky helmet.
